Night Hawks Come Up Short to Faulkner

Box Score THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University women's basketball team lost, 58-49, Saturday afternoon in the home opener at the TU Gymnasium. 

Thomas trailed 13-9 after the first and 22-25 at halftime, then took a 35-32 lead heading into the fourth quarter. TU came out flat in the final stanza, falling 58-49. 

TU swiped 14 steals and outscored Faulkner, 40-26, in the paint. 

Senior Micah Garvin led TU with 11 points and eight rebounds, while sophomore Alisha Clayton and senior Dymon Brown each added 10 apiece. Sophomore Pkacia Johnson dished out seven assists and pulled down a team-high nine boards. 

The Night Hawks return to the court Nov. 12 to host Middle Georgia State at 5:30 p.m. Then Thomas opens Sun Conference action Nov. 15 against Keiser University at 5:30 p.m. at the TU Gymnasium.
