Night Hawks Split in Warner Invitational

LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Thomas University baseball team spilt games in the first day of the 2017 Warner Invitational. TU fell to Spring Arbor University (Mich.), 5-2, and topped Siena Heights University (Mich.), 9-7, on Thursday.

The Night Hawks went to 11-14 on the season and play Mount Vernon Nazarene University (Ohio) and Bellevue University (Neb.) on Friday starting at 10 a.m.

Four different players had hits, while Yovanny Peguero went 1-for-3 with a run scored in the game.
 
David Wood went the complete game, six innings, with five runs on 11 hits and struck out three.
