Night Hawks Sweep Milligan

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University baseball team completed the sweep on Milligan College (Tenn.), 5-2 and 4-2, on Saturday at Varnedoe Stadium. The Night Hawks had 15 of the 20 lead off batters reach base in the weekend.

The Night Hawks improved to 5-3 on the season, while the Buffaloes started the season 0-3 on the year. TU opens conference play against No. 15 Keiser University (Fla.) 2 p.m. Friday at Varnedoe Stadium in a double header.

GAME ONE
Jalbert Melo went two-for-four with an RBI, while Tanner Elsbernd hit two-for-three with two RBI's and one run scored.
David Wood threw six innings pitched with two runs on eight hits and struck out four and improved to 2-0, while Jacob Moye picked up his first save of the season and gave up no runs and no hits.
