No. 12 Saint Thomas Tops Night Hawks

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Thomas University baseball team fell to 12th-ranked Saint Thomas University (Fla.), 7-0, on Saturday at Paul Demie Mainieri Field.

The Night Hawks fell to 8-11, 1-8 in The Sun Conference, while the Bobcats improved to 10-5, 6-3 in TSC. TU returns home for a three-game home stand against Martin Methodist (Tenn.) starting at 2 p.m. on Friday.

Jalbert Melo, Taylor Westbrook, Tanner Long and Dominic Berlin all had a hit in the game.

Justin Young picked up the loss on four innings pitched with five runs, three earned, on seven hits and struck out four. Holden Alexander threw two innings with two runs on four hits. Jamie Rivera tossed 0.1 inning with no runs on no hits, while Jacob Moye threw the last 1.2 innings with no runs on no hits.
