THOMASVILLE, Ga. - Thomas opens its 2017-18 campaign Monday inside TU Gymnasium in non-conference action against USCAA member Selma (Ala.). Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET. Admission is free.

Monday is Rally Day at TU Gymnasium. Prior to the women's game, the first 25 Thomas fans inside the building receive a complimentary TU Student Life t-shirt courtesy of the Thomas University Student Life and Campus Activities Board.

Thomas has been picked to finish seventh in the 2017-18 Sun Conference Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches' Poll, the league office has announced. The Night Hawks earned 29 points in a vote of the league's head coaches.
Thomas returns eight letter winners and four starters from last season's squad that ranked 14th in NAIA Division II in offensive rebounds per game, 16th in steals per game and 26th in 3-point field goal percentage defense.

Arianna Anderson (9.2 ppg, 7.0 rpg), its third and fourth leading scorers, respectively, from a season ago.
