THOMASVILLE, Ga. - The Thomas University softball team will return home Tuesday to take on Brewton-Parker College in non-conference action.
The Lady Night Hawks (8-9) finished Gulf Coast Invitational Play, going 2-3. In the GCI, sophomore
Michael Cooper hit two home runs, giving her a team high 4 home runs in the early going, to go along with her team leading 20 runs batted in, which is 17
th best in NAIA. Junior
Brittany Daniels went three for three in stolen bases, giving her 11 overall on the season.
Coming off of a sweep by Georgia Southwestern, the Baronesses (9-9) are trying to find their winning ways after dropping five of their last seven games. Senior Lauren Clinton currently has the team's highest batting average (.396), while pitchers Courtney Bahrs and Luana Imamura lead the team in earned run average (3.35) and strikeouts (20), respectively.
First pitch at Armory Field is set for 1pm.
