THOMASVILLE, Ga. - The Thomas University softball team will face Concordia (Mich.) Saturday in their final two-game series before Sun Conference play begins.

Megan Withrow (1-0) picked up her first collegiate victory in the first game, while sophomore
Michael Cooper went two-for-three at the plate, including a solo home run. Copper added a game winning, three-run homer in game two.
Concordia (5-3) will stop in Kentucky Friday for a doubleheader against Union College before coming to Thomas. The Lady Cardinals pitching unit is eighth in NAIA in earned run average (1.50). Senior pitcher Corrina Rotondo's earned run average (0.82) is 16th best in NAIA.
First pitch at Armory Field is set for 1 p.m.
