THOMASVILLE, Ga. - The Thomas University's women's basketball team will play their final home Sun Conference game of the regular season on Wednesday evening, when they face Webber International University.
After being swept by St. Thomas Saturday, the Lady Night Hawks (12-12, 7-7 TSC) can still clinch a home game in the Sun Conference with a win and a loss from Keiser. Senior
Bra'shey Ali continues to lead the NAIA in offensive boards per game (4.64), while Thomas, as a team, leads NAIA Division II in total boards per game (50.04). TU also ranks second in total rebound margin (15.83) and offensive rebounds per game (20.20).
The Lady Warriors (18-9, 12-3) still have a shot at finishing first in the Sun Conference with a win over Thomas and a Southeastern loss. WIU is led by senior guard Deslyn Applewhaite with 12.76 points per game, while junior forward Quanthavia Stalworth leads the Lady Warriors in boards (6.96) and blocks per game (1.54).
Webber International defeated Thomas, 77-65, on January 16
th in Babson Park, Fla.
Tipoff at the TU Gymnasium is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
