THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University women's soccer team ended the 2016 season with a 2-0 loss to St. Thomas University (Fla.) on Saturday in the quarter-finals of The Sun Conference Tournament at the TU Soccer Complex.

The Night Hawks finished the season with a 9-9 record, while the Bobcats improved to 11-6 on the year.

Sarah Thomsson netted the first goal of the game in the 34th minute. Ana Parra passed the ball back to Thomsson who took a shot from the middle of the field from 25 yards out that beat the TU goalie.

Thomsson netted an insurance goal in the 68th minute. She collected the ball 45 yards out and took a shot that went over the goal keeper's head.

Kara Houston collected five saves in goal for the Night Hawks.

Milene Anstett, Dara Propst and Luciane Wentz and all ended their TU careers.
