COLUMBUS, Ga. – The eighth-ranked Thomas University men's soccer team fell to Georgia Gwinnett, 1-0, on Tuesday at the Walden Soccer Complex.

The Night Hawks went to 11-2-1 on the season, while the Grizzlies improved to 8-3-2 on the year. TU returns home for a 1 p.m. matchup with Cumberland on Saturday.

Jack Gurr headed in the only goal of the game in the 24th minute off a pass from Malik Thornell.

TU outshot the Grizzlies 18-9 in the game and put four shots on goal.

Lee Howarth collected four saves in goal for the Night Hawks.
