THOMASVILLE, Ga. ?  The Thomas University women's basketball team will head to West Palm Beach, Fla., on Saturday to face Keiser University in a Sun Conference play.

The Lady Night Hawks (10-9, 5-4 TSC) defeated Keiser 66-61 in double overtime earlier this season. After coming off of an impressive 70-60 victory over Florida Memorial on Thursday night, Thomas will go for the season series sweep of Keiser for the first time in program history. Junior
Taron Bright increased her points per game average to 8.1 after leading the Lady Night Hawks in scoring (15 points) against the Lions. Thomas now has NAIA Division II's best and second-best offensive rebounders per game in senior
Bra'shey Ali (4.94) and junior
Rayven Thomas (4.74). The Lady Night Hawks also lead both NAIA Division I and II in rebounds per game (51). In Thursday's win against FMU,
Rayven Thomas became the third Lady Night Hawk to break the single game rebounding record. At the beginning of the 2015-2016 season, senior
Bria Joyner-Williams set the mark at 21 just to have Ali break it with 22 against Trinity Baptist. Rayven then topped the mark with 23 against the Lions.

Keiser (12-10, 5-4 TSC) is on a two-game winning streak. Last time out, they defeated Johnson & Wales 77-56.  Since its last meeting with Thomas, KU's scoring defense per game (55.46) has significantly improved, ranking fourth in NAIA Division II. The Lady Seahawks will rely on junior guard Courtney Murphy make an impact in the upcoming game. Murphy ranks third in NAIA Division II in three-pointers made per game (3.85) that pushes her season scoring average to 15.9 points a game.
