MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – The Thomas University men's basketball team added some color tonight to Brewton-Parker's "Blackout" defeating the Barons 76-64 on the road to complete the season series sweep.

The Night Hawks led from the tip amassing a 22-6 gap over the Barons with 8:30 left in the first half of play.Â
Brent Crews and company continued to widen the gap over the final minutes of the half heading into the intermission with the 37-18 advantage.

Brewton-Parker (4-5) narrowed Thomas' lead to a 10 point, 67-57 TU advantage with 3:28 remaining in regulation, but the Night Hawks held strong to pull out the 76-64 victory.

Mike Lyons led the way for Thomas scoring 21 points while bringing down five boards.Â
Jamison Williams and Javoirs Cooks netted 17 and 12 points, respectively in Thomas' fifth win of the season.

Thomas (5-3) will be back in action on the Wed., Dec. 2 as they return home to host Middle Georgia State University. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
