The runs batter in were her fourth and fifth of the day. Senior relief pitcher Aimee Johnson (2-8) tossed a scoreless seventh for the win.

In game two, Beaufort led 3-2 after three ½ innings but Thomas would score two in the fourth and three in the fifth to take a 7-3 lead.
