Box Score MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – The Lady Night Hawks basketball team bounced back into the winning column tonight sweeping the season series against Brewton-Parker College with a 64-61 victory.
"It was a balanced effort from the ladies tonight," commented head coach
Coretta Brown. "We had three players in double figure scoring, and the energy from the bench was great.
Ashley Lewis played some great minutes and led us in rebounding with six. This win is really a credit to the way we have practiced since Thanksgiving break. We'll enjoy this win until practice tomorrow then it's back to getting better."
Thomas University reaches a 5-3 record on the year sending BPC to a 2-8 record overall.
The Lady Night Hawks return to the court on Saturday, Dec. 6 when they open Sun Conference play against Florida Memorial University. Tipoff is set for 1:00 p.m.
