Johnson & Wales University (4-9, 1-5) defeated Thomas University (6-11, 2-4), 83-67, in a Saturday afternoon Sun Conference match up in North Miami, FL.

JWU knocked down the game's first points in a battle that stayed close for the first 10:00 minutes of the game. TU would bring the score to within 2 but JWU would answer back and open up a 15 advantage. The Lady Night Hawks went into the locker room down by 10, 45-35.

TU came back out of the locker room and for 5 minutes gave the Wildcats all they could handle bringing the game to within six. JWU would take control of the game after point, opening a 25 point advantage with 4 minutes left in the game.
Junior Taylor Britt led the way for TU with 15 points. Three other Lady Night Hawks finished in double digits. Freshman Joi Wright added 11 points while juniors Miracle Watts and Jessica Anderson both added 10 Points.

Thomas will be back on the road Wednesday January 22^nd , traveling to Warner University for a 5:00 PM tip-off.
