Corbett serves as the primary contact for men's soccer, women's soccer, women's basketball, track and field, baseball, and club pickleball. In his role, he oversees athletic communications, statistics, website management, media relations, social media strategy, and game-day operations for his assigned sports while working as the play-by-play voice of all home Night Hawks football, soccer, basketball, baseball, and flag football contests.

Prior to Thomas University, Corbett gained extensive experience in sports media, broadcasting and athletic communications. A left-handed pitcher at Division III North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, Corbett served as the award-winning sports director for WONC 89.1 FM, the campus radio station, and sports editor of The Chronicle, the campus newspaper. He graduated in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and media studies and a minor in sport management while earning various top distinctions from the college's journalism department, the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System, the Illinois Broadcasters Association, and the Student Illinois News Broadcasters Association alike.

Corbett broadcast more than 150 Cardinals games, including contests involving the college's national championship football program, as well as basketball, volleyball and softball. He also served as a student assistant in the sports information department, contributing to social media graphics, game-day operations, public address announcing and website management.

Corbett spent two summers in the Prospect League, serving as a public address announcer for home games while pitching on the road for the Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp and Lafayette Aviators in 2023 and 2024.

Following graduation, Corbett balanced freelance broadcasting opportunities across the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, covering a variety of sports and markets.

He also spent a year as a sports information assistant at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. During that time, he revamped the department's social media efforts, increasing its audience by 45% across X, Facebook and Instagram. Leading a team of student-workers, he assisted with all aspects of athletic communications and game-day operations and helped coordinate three NJCAA national championships: football in 2025, men's volleyball in 2026 and flag football in 2026.

Additionally, Corbett worked as a news reporter for WJOL 1340 AM and as a sports reporter for Naperville Community Television.

In 2025, Corbett joined the broadcast team of the Lake Country DockHounds of the American Association of Professional Baseball while assisting with the organization's media communications efforts. The following season, he led broadcasting and communications operations for the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes of the Prospect League.

Since 2010, he has been a member of SAG-AFTRA as a voice over artist. In his spare time, Corbett coaches youth baseball and serves as an umpire. He resides in Thomasville; and is the son of Jude and Angelica, and the brother of Leo.
