Night Hawks unable to overcome slow first half against No.21 Seahawks

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – Thomas returned home after a three-game road trip to face No.21 Keiser Seahawks in a matchup of former conference opponents on Saturday afternoon at the TU Gym.

The Seahawks came out red hot going on a 12-2 run to start out the game. The Night Hawks responded with a Christian Nurse three to bring the lead back down to single digits, but Keiser again hit three quick buckets to go up 15 with 13:23 to go. Jailin Lee knocked down a couple of jumpers and Jordan Howe made two free throws to get some offense going for Thomas, however, the Seahawks put another flury of quick makes to maintain the lead.

Coming out of the half, The Night Hawks starred down a 24-point deficit, so they began to climb it with Ja'Vian Baker coming out of the break making a couple shots and Joshua Robertson hitting a three and a jumper. However, Keiser continued their momentum throughout the second half and went on to win.

Lee was the leading scorer for Thomas with 13, he also added two rebounds and an assist, Noah Lattin flirted with a double-double, finishing with eight points and nine boards and Baker had seven points, a block and a steal.

The Night Hawks return to action on Tuesday, December 17th for a 5:30pm tip with conference foe Loyola for the final matchup of the calendar year
