DAYTONA, Fla. – The Thomas University men's basketball team lost, 95-84, to Davis & Elkins in exhibition action Saturday at the Embry-Riddle Classic.

Tim Williamson led Thomas with a huge double-double, posting 31 points and 12 rebounds, and added eight assists for the Night Hawks. He went 13-of-24 from the field, hitting a pair of treys and three from the line.

Keon Williams added 20 points, hitting four from long distance, and grabbed six boards while
Jordan Booker dished out six assists.

The Night Hawks hit 45.7 percent (32-70) overall and 38.1 percent (8-21) from distance, while knocking down 12-of-14 (85.7%) of their free throws. TU recorded 23 assists in the game.

Thomas fell behind, 50-44, in the first half, then couldn't catch up, being outscored 40-45 in the second stanza, to fall, 95-84.

Thomas returns to Sun Conference action on Thursday, Jan. 5 when the Night Hawks host Warner University (Fla.) at the TU Gymnasium.
