THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University Men's basketball team travels to Ave Maria, Fla. Saturday to face the Gyrenes in The Sun Conference's Game of the Week.
 
TU (7-11, 7-5 TSC) has been red-hot since the team's overtime loss at Warner, reeling off four, straight wins.  The Night Hawks' recent win was especially big for the Hunter Green & White, defeating Keiser 85-70 to give the Seahawks their first home loss of the season.  The contest also saw Junior Guards Tim Williamson and Toriano Lewis score career-highs with 25 and 23 points, respectively. 
 
Ave Maria (14-8, 8-5 TSC) has been the biggest obstacle for TU for the past few years, owning a five-game win streak over the Night Hawks.  The Gyrenes feature two of the top five scorers in the conference.  TSC Player of the Week Fernando Salsamendi averages 17.6, shooting over 50% from the floor.  Eric Klekas comes off 20+ point performances in AMU's last three games.
