THOMASVILLE, Ga. – Thomas University's
Desean Enzor was one rebound from a double-double Friday after scoring 11 points in the Night Hawks' 73-58 loss to Johnson & Wales University at TU Gymnasium.
The game was originally scheduled for Thursday, but due to possible bad weather, the event was moved to Friday.
After being tied at 31 at the half, JWU jumped out to an 11-point lead just eight minutes into the second period and TU couldn't catch up.
Thomas outrebounded JWU 31-29, but the Night Hawks defense allowed the Wildcats to shoot 50.9 percent from the field and 47.6 percent from long range.
Trint Bryant added 11 points, four rebounds and two assists, while
Nebojsa Mickic scored eight points and
Joshua Scott posted seven points, six rebounds and four assists.
Thomas is back in action tomorrow, facing No. 6 Keiser University (Fla.) at 4 p.m. in the TU Gymnasium.
