THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomas University Swimming teams used Friday's meet against the best-ranked team in NAIA as an opportunity to gauge the progress level of the program.
While both Men's and Women's Swimming lost to Keiser, 162-34 and 133-65 respectively, the meet saw several TU accomplishments, including all-time personal bests for some of the swimmers.
Senior
Ethan Bainbridge won the Men's 200-yard Freestyle with an all-time best 1:43.66, the third-best time in NAIA. The time is merely another accolade for the Johannesburg, South African native, as Bainbridge remains #1 in the country in the 50-yard Fly and 100-yard Freestyle while currently ranked third in the 100-yard Fly.
On the Lady Night Hawks' side, Senior
Maggie Davis saw an in-season best time of 2:14.44 in the 200-yard Fly while Sophomore
Kyndall Cardoso set the new NAIA mark in the 400-yard Individual Medley, winning with a time of 4:42.49.
