MARIETTA, Ga. – The Thomas University Men's basketball team will look to bounce back in Day 2 of the Running Eagles Classic Saturday, battling the Lions of Bryan College.
The Hunter Green & White (0-1) come off a 88-70 loss to host Life University Friday night. TU as a whole shot 47% from the field while converting 78% of their free throws. Junior Guard
Tim Williamson will look for his second 20+ Points Scored and will look to build off his shooting percentage from the field (67%). After coming away with four steals last time out, Junior Guard
Jordan Booker will look to make a defensive impact for the Night Hawks against a BC team who suffered 22 team turnovers.
Bryan College (1-0) will look to finish the Running Eagles classic with a pair of wins after defeating Southeastern Baptist 104-73 Friday evening. The Night Hawks will keep an eye on Freshman Guard Kavon Blankenship, who picked up 15 Points and 6 Assists, converting on 71.4% of his shots in the Gallatin, Tn. native's NAIA debut. TU will also look to contain Senior Forward Justin Warner, who compiled 15 Points, 10 Rebounds, and 2 Blocks in the Lions' season opening win.
Tipoff at the Eagles Nest is slated for 12 p.m.
