THOMASVILLE, Ga. ̶ The
T.J. Rines era will officially begin Friday night, as the Thomas University's Men's basketball team travels to Marietta, Ga. to take on Life University.
The Night Hawks return Junior
Trint Bryant and Senior
Desean Enzor. Bryant shot 38% from the field in 2019-20, while Enzor shot just under 58% from inside the paint.
TU will enter the 2020-2021 season with star power, adding Andrew College transfers
Tim Williamson and
Jordan Booker. Williamson shot nearly 56% from the field last season, while Booker shot from over 40% and tallied seven assists per game. Booker will also be a defensive force to be reckoned with, as the Guard accumulated 5.2 Steals a Game last season as a Tiger.
Life University's defense will challenge the Night Hawks' scoring threat, as the Running Eagles finished last season ranked 22nd in NAIA Division I in Points Allowed per Game (71.13).
Tipoff at the Eagles Nest is set for 7 p.m.
