Quante Smith recorded a double-double with 13 rebounds and 13 points, in Thomas University's 75-65 win over Johnson & Wales University (Fla.) in Sun Conference action Saturday afternoon at the Wildcat Center.
Smith hit 6-of-7 of his shots from the field, tying his season high points.
TU took a five point lead, 31-26, heading into the half, then extended the margin to 10 in the second period.
As a team, the Night Hawks hit 52.0 percent from the field, knocking down 26-of-50 shots. Thomas outrebounded the Wildcats 40-27.
Joshua Scott recorded 28 points, his sixth 20-point game this season, hitting 12-of-13 free throws and shooting 61.5 percent (8-13) from the field. Scott also grabbed four rebounds and swiped two steals.
TU next faces Valdosta State University in an exhibition game Dec. 19 in Georgia.
