Night Hawks stay hot in rout over Webber

Thomas University won their third straight game on Saturday, flying past Webber International 75-56 in the TU Gymnasium. The win marks the 3rd time this season the Night Hawks have won at least 3 straight. The victory also pushes the team into the sixth, and final, spot for the Sun Conference tournament later this month.
TU used a 10-0 run early in the first half to build a 38-20 halftime lead that they would never relinquish. JaVoris Cooks led the team with 15 points, including 4-5 shooting from beyond the arc, in only 17 minutes of play. D.J. Roulhac, Johnnel Ginnie, and Willie Holloway each added 9 points. Ginnie, Holloway, and Cooks each had 4 rebounds. As a team, TU shot 57% from the field, including a blistering 64% from 3-pt land (8-9 in the first half).
Thomas looks to extend their win streak on Thursday when Ave Maria University come to the Tu Gymnasium for more Sun Conference action. Tipoff is set for 8pm. Be sure to keep up with all the Night Hawks teams at www.tunighthawks.com.
