Box Score MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – The Thomas University men's basketball team defeated Brewton-Parker College, 82-64, Monday night.
The Night Hawks knocked down 63.8 percent (30-47) of their shots and drained nine shots from long range. Thomas' defense held Brewton-Parker to 26.9 percent (7-26) from three. TU outrebounded B-PC, 29-24, and outscored the Barons, 42-32, in the paint.

Joshua Scott led all scorers with 19 points, hitting 6-of-9 from the field and a pair of treys. Junior
Dexter Hood added 18 points, hitting 8-of-11 overall, and grabbed six rebounds.
After taking a 10-point, 44-34, lead at the half, Thomas went on to outscore the Barons 38-30 in the second period to take the win.
Thomas opens Sun Conference play Nov. 15 against Keiser University at 7:30 p.m. at the TU Gymnasium.
