Night Hawks fall in double dual meet

PENSACOLA, Fla. - Thomas lost to NCAA Division II member West Florida, 163-53, and Loyola (La.), 176-48, in a double dual meet Friday afternoon at UWF Aquatic Center. 

"Today was just another step in our season as we try to build momentum towards the national meet," Night Hawk coach Malcolm Hosford said.

The Thomas (0-2) team of Marien Rincon Medina, Kiana Ocasio-Molina, Jamie Haught and Dashley Reyes placed fourth in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:47.93.

Molina took third in the 100 back in 1:05.21 and 400 IM in 4:57. Reyes placed third in the 100 free in 56.20 and 100 butterfly in 1:04.34. Rincon Medina finished third in the 200 breast after touching the wall in 2:48.81. Haught took third in the 500 free with a time of 5:41.41.

West Florida (4-0) also defeated Loyola (1-3), 158-82.

The Night Hawks take part in the South Georgia State Invitational on Nov. 4 at 11 a.m ET.
