Thomas Men's Basketball (16-12, 9-9) enters the 2014 Sun Conference Tournament seeded #5 and will face #4 Embry-Riddle University (24-6, 13-5) tomorrow night at 7 p.m. in Daytona Beach, Fla.
"We are excited about the opportunity to go on the road and play in The Sun Conference tournament in our 1
st year", said TU Men's Basketball Coach
Stephen Cox. "We split with them in the regular season, so I think both teams will be prepared for each other. When we play our style, defend, rebound and push the basketball up the floor, I like our chances to be there at the end."
Thomas has split against Embry-Riddle this season, dropping a six point affair on the road back in January and dominating a twenty two point win at home at the beginning of February. Senior forward
Justyn Watkins leads the Night Hawks in scoring, averaging 23.68 points per game while sophomore center
Andrea Robinson leads TU with 225 total rebounds
The winner of the Thomas and Embry-Riddle game will advance to the semi-final round of the TSC Tournament, hosted by the highest remaining seed, on Monday March 3rd. Be sure to follow the game via Live Stats at
