"The guys played great this evening," stated head men's basketball coach
Stephen Cox. "We only had eight guys dressed, so we were battling short-handed there. We were completely undersized tonight against Truett-McConnell, but our guys defended extremely well both halves. While we struggled with timing and scoring and utilizing the clock for our situational points at the end of the game when it mattered most this past week against Middle Georgia. During the second half, that changed and we were able to sustain and build a lead. It was a great and fun win for us, and I'm proud of our team tonight."
