CLEVELAND, Ga. - Thomas University men's basketball team maintained their undefeated streak tonight defeating Truett-McConnell College on the road 78-64.

The Night Hawks opened the ball game with an offensive force. At its height, the squad built an 18 point lead in first half that was cut to a 36-26 advantage at half. The Night Hawks continued their offensive effort in the second half building a 22 point lead at its height.

Four Night Hawks finished the game with double digits in the points column. Sophomore guard Adonai Rogers led the Green and White with 18 pointswhile Alan Love added 17 points, Max Grace contributed 16 points, and Javoris Cooks finished with 10 points.

"The guys played great this evening," stated head men's basketball coach Stephen Cox. "We only had eight guys dressed, so we were battling short-handed there. We were completely undersized tonight against Truett-McConnell, but our guys defended extremely well both halves. While we struggled with timing and scoring and utilizing the clock for our situational points at the end of the game when it mattered most this past week against Middle Georgia. During the second half, that changed and we were able to sustain and build a lead. It was a great and fun win for us, and I'm proud of our team tonight."

The Night Hawks improved to 6-0 on the season sending Truett-McConnell to a 2-3 record overall.

The Green and White return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 19 when they travel to Cochran, Ga. to take on the Knights of Middle Georgia State College (1-2). The Green and White defeated the Knights at home last week 83-81. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
