Men's Basketball (11-7, 4-4) extended their Sun Conference win streak to three after defeating Warner University (2-6, 9-10), 86-73, this evening in Lake Wales, FL.

The Night Hawks jumped out to an early lead with a jumper by Senior Justyn Watkins just 10 seconds into the half and would lead the entire game. TU would open their lead to as much as 11 in the first half but WU was not going down without a battle, bringing the game back to within 6 in the last minute of the half. TU took a 44-38 advantage into the locker room.

In the second half Thomas would stay in control building their advantage to 15. WU slowly clawed their way back into the game and with a minute left made it a 9 point game but TU was able to once again take a firm handle to finish off the night.

Watkins and junior guard Max Grace each scored a team high 22 points on the night. Two other Night Hawks were in double figures, junior Rodney Sturkie added 14 points and freshman Trey Gosier added 12 points with 6 assists.

TU Men's Basketball will be back in action on Saturday January 25^th at the TU Gymnasium. Tipoff is set for 4:00 PM.
