Men's Basketball (8-3. 1-1) recorded their first victory in The Sun Conference play with a 81-63 romp over Florida Memorial University (2-8, 0-1) this evening in the Thomas University Gymnasium.

TU led from start to finish dominating all aspects of the game throughout the forty minutes of action. The Night Hawks extended the five point first half lead by storming out of the locker room and pulling away in the final 20 minutes. Thomas shot 45% from the field and 50% from the three point arc while dominating the interior with 30 points in the paint. Four Night Hawks hit double digits in scoring led by senior forward Justyn Watkins with 21 points. Junior forward Fare'al Walker recorded a double-double (13 points and 12 rebounds) in his first game of the season with junior guard Max Grace (14) and freshman Trey Gosier (14) rounding out the double digit scorers for TU.

The Night Hawks will step away from TSC action when they host College of Coastal Georgia on Tuesday December 17^th at 7:30PM in their final game before Christmas break.
