Trinity Thomas Plunkett was hired in May 2024 as Sports Information Director. She is primarily assigned as the primary statistician for all sports as well as the primary sport and game day operations contact for all 16 varsity sports.
Thomas Plunkett has worked as a baseball, basketball, football, soccer, and volleyball statistician for schools at the NAIA and NCAA Division I, II, and III Levels through the scorer's table. From 2020-2022 Thomas served as a Sports Coordinator and Data for the ASF Foundation. Her primary responsibility was to help set up tournaments and athlete registration for the Alabama State Games. Following the State Games in Summer of 2022, Thomas served as the production and broadcasting intern for The Score at WCOV Fox 20 a local morning sports talk show in Montgomery, Ala. In March 2024 Thomas was selected as one of 22 recipients of the 2024 College Sports Communicators Attendance grant.
The Seffner, Fla. native is a Faulkner University graduate that worked with the Faulkner Sports Network as a Sports Information Student Assistant from 2020-2024. Thomas Plunkett assisted with statistics, broadcasting, writing, graphic design, photography, website management, game-day operations, and other duties as assigned while earning a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies with cognates in Science and Sports Management.
Thomas Plunkett has entered her sixth year in sports information and her second year in a full-time role.
She is married to Grayson Plunkett who serves the sports editor for Thomasville Enterprise-Times. The couple resides in Thomasville, Ga.
