Box Score Thomas University moved by Southeastern University 3-2 in The Sun Conference semifinals today in Daytona Beach, FL. The Night Hawks will play the winner of this evening's Embry Riddle/ SCAD matchup in the Championship game Saturday at 6pm.
The scoring started early for TU, as Jarrod Ingram pushed a shot past the Southeastern keeper in the 6^th minute. The Fire evened the score 9 minutes later, but the Night Hawks would strike again before the half, with Diego Hurtado scoring off the assist from Steven Conway in the 43^rd minute, giving TU a 2-1 lead at the break.
Ingram would strike again early in the second half, scoring his second goal of the day at the 52:10 mark. Southeastern would pull within one goal in the 86^th minute, but the Night Hawks would salt the game away to advance.
Andreas Hoffer would tally 4 saves in goal today, while the Night Hawks would take 8 shots, with only 4 on goal.
