The Sun Conference office has named senior defender Hannah Claesson (Katrineholm, Sweden) as The Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week (September 23-29).

The senior defensive midfielder anchored a TU defense that allowed only one goal in three games while going 3-0 on the week. TU limited their opponents to only five shots on goal in the three games. Claesson also contributed in the offensive side, notching two goals during the three game week.

TU's Women Soccer team will be back in Sun Conference action this coming Friday when they travel to Beaufort, SC to face University of South Carolina - Beaufort in a 3PM kickoff.
